So I take it if it's 4th and 2, they still kick a FG?

if he's gone, it'll be this year. Money gets a lot worse for the Pack the year following.

I thought Green Bay lost their mind getting rid of Farve when they did. I was dead wrong. But I don't think Green Bay has the next Rodgers now.

Dude is the best QB talent wise I've ever seen. Cerebral and a arm forged on Mt. Olympus. Won't be another like him.

Pack are on the hook for a $31.5 million dollar cap hit if they trade him from what I read after this year.

We have another like him playing in the Super Bowl.

8 yd line or 3 yd line...you have the MVP of the league running your offense. You go for the TD.

Agree—I was shocked he didn’t go for it from the 8. My point is that Rogers didn’t need to score. If he gets to the three, the two minute warning hits, and Rogers talks it over with LeFleur and they go for it. Rogers kind of pussied out there.

2 better versions of him in the Superbowl.

So the better decision was to run than to throw into a double covered 6 inch window.

theres no chance he scores there by running it in. The two defending the receiver by the goal line can maintain enough coverage as Rodgers reaches the line of scrimmage and once he passes it, both could easily get in between him and before he reaches the end zone/corner. if Rodgers ran straight, the defender closest to the line would get him and/or cut off any route to the left side.

the other angle shows it better. it was on espn. if you saw it the way they described it by ex NFL players you would agree he gets in easy. maybe it's on youtube now

other national shows other than ESPN on TV today showed said it was wide open and an easy run in td (cbs sports, fox sports, nfl network).

He's not getting in. If you have evidence to the contrary please post it, not just vague references to other angles or shows.

There is no way in hell he is scoring there. JPP is not slow and probably gets a nub on him before rodgers even has the chance to get plastered by the 2 guys covering adams. He should have pumped to adams and hit someone else but he didn't.

its been on tv all day on the sports channels and sports radio. all the nfl experts and ex nfl players are saying it. just google it.

the only people who aren't saying he would get in are the posters here on this forum. and i think they're just doing that because i supplied the info. If i posted he wouldn't get in, then all of them would be calling me nuts saying he would get in.

the spite on this forum is off the charts.

say he runs and doesnt get in but gets down to the 5, or 4, or 3, or 2, or 1.

that would set up 4th and goal from the 5 or less. if you don't make that, then brady is pinned deep against his own endzone and you have 3 time outs. They probably call 3 run plays, and you get the Pack get the ball back with 1:40 left and probably good field position from the punt from the bucs endzone. Then you have rodgers with a short field and 1:40 left for another shot.

Still better than kicking the fg.

multiple fails on many fronts on that goal situation by the packers.

im not saying he's fast but he's mobile. and if you followed rodgers he's extremely moble. he can run esp during around the goaline. Remember Rodgers w/ the wrestling championship belt celebration?

Even Wilbon on Pardon the Interruption said today what I posted yesterday how Rodgers can pump fake and get the defenders to bite and get into to score a td.

it doesn't matter anyway. Rodgers choked either way. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3FiocKVQTm8&t=33s

The 2 guys covering have no chance. They are running the opposite way. So it's either that D Lineman or somebody in the end zone running up to meet him. It only takes a second and a half to get within the 5 because he already has a head of steam, so anything after that is gravy.

JPP is 3 yds ahead of him, going full speed and is only the distance between the hashes away from him laterally. If he decides to run he is going to have to shake JPP because he would other wise run him down for little gain if any. Rodgers is pretty good and shaking guys so he probably cuts back inside and lets JPP fly right by but while all this is happening the other 2 guys are going to eat him up. If JPP isn't there pursuing him with the angle then I think he does pull it down and run and it would be close but I suspect he gets blasted near the goaline. JPP is almost spying him for just that scenario. He isn't covering anyone and he isn't taking a straight line to the backfield.

4th and goal to go at the 5 is a much better play than trying to pass into double coverage

Yes, I said Aaron Rodgers was 0-3 in his last 3 NFC championships. I stand corrected : AARON RODGERS IS 0-4 in his last 4 NFC Championship games.

there, happy now.
