The bar for justifying liquidation only is incredibly low. Regulations seemingly always err on the side of restrictions/lowering volatility

I work in futures, not stocks. We are even more regulated than stocks.

I'm assuming the laws and compliance stuff is very similar so I could be wrong but I think they're asses are covered.

It depends on why they had to do it though.

Market volatility is almost always the reason and it obviously applies here, so no matter what the real reason is, they're covered.

It sucks and its shady but its legal.
It won't be easy but you'd have to prove it was done to help a hedge fund that gives them significant money.

That would be like proving someone broke your window during a hurricane that was breaking windows everywhere.

But yea, probably possible but extremely unlikely

Many Crypto exchanges also shut down the trading of Doge this morning. What is their rationale for this? That the working poor and middle class was accumulating too much wealth for their liking?

After a complete drop, it seems to be going back up again.
