If you've got Hulu, check out - The Looming Tower- 3 episodes in and it is great. Heard about it from a friend and it didn't disappoint.

I picked up hulu to get the Cubs games, I like it. Yellowstone is great. Better than netflix? Probably..theyre different, Other than the Queens Gambit I haven't seen anything on Netflix worth watching in almost a year.

I have found it to be 3rd after Netflix and HBO Max, and better than Amazon and Disney in my current rotation. They have a lot of sports and a number of other good TV shows from the past. I am currently re-watching the first two seasons of Fargo on FX. I need to go back and watch the last couple episodes of Snowfall from last year as well when that comes back on for a new season.

@312player The Looming Tower was excellent. Recommend you check out No Man's Land next. Only actor you'll likely recognize is James Purifoy but it's about ISIS. It came out in November I think, 8 episodes and I watched in a weekend.

ya i agree about netflix. lot of junk they produce but they do have 1-2 shows that are good. but that's pretty much every network.

I also have Prime and it doesn't really seem like they have done independent shows. There was one teen 80s country clb show i liked but i don't see it back.

HBO Max I don't put in the same category because that's like traditional cable and it kicks all the others ass. It's nice you can cancel anytime too so if I don't see a month of anything new coming out for HBO i just cancel and then re sub when I see something interesting down the line.

I'll see if Hulu has a free trail offer. But i don't see anything on there that I'd pay to watch right now.

Started up Season 1 of Freaks and Geeks per a suggestion from a few board members. I'm about 6 episodes in and have enjoyed it quite a bit. Didn't realize it was such a cult classic type show.

Glad you enjoyed it. Another one to check out is Tehran on Apple TV +. Has similarities to early suspenseful seasons of Homeland plus two actors who were on the later seasons of it. The writer also created Fauda which is on Netflix. Fauda isn't bad but the overdubs seem to take me out of the show.

Seinfeld and the Wonder Years are the two best shows on Hulu.

If you liked Wonder Years I would say check out Freaks and Geeks. Just one season but definitely some parallels to one another.

Made mention of it in an earlier post but didn't specifically suggest it, but with the next season coming out in the next few weeks you may want to give Snowfall a shot. You should know within the first couple episodes if you like it or not but I have found it to be a really good show.

No Man’s took a while to get going, but it tied together nicely. But that Antoine dude was super annoying. I wanted him to suffer and die.

I watched Vacation Friends on Saturday night. It wasn't really as funny as I thought it would be but overall there were some good laughs along the way.

They were different jokes but all in the same vein of being a bit off color and raunchy. I laughed out loud maybe 3 times but everything else was pretty weak and run of the mill. I didn't have any
high expectations.
