By your "win" standard then they should just keep Mitch. He has only 1 losing season and was 11-3, 8-7, and 6-3 over his last 3. Wentz has 3 losing seasons in 5 years. Plus Mitch he would only cost them money...and less money to boot.

Wentz in his 5 years has 3 seasons Cutty could never replicate over his whole career. This isn't even close.

I don't think it's that far apart in terms of stat inflation.

If anything, 113 touchdowns and 50 interceptions vs. 94 touchdowns and 79 interceptions for his first 5 years gives the edge to Wentz.

Now, if Wentz really can't play any more then obviously it's a problem.

Really the Bears should just go with Mac Jones in the 1st and then a flyer someone like Ian Book in the 5th. If they took enough swings, surely they can hit at some point.
