Only thing I noticed about her was that earlier in the day all the back story stuff had her working with her hair hidden away in her hat etc. Then all of the sudden on the big stage last night shes flying around 90's like big blonde hair all out the back of her cap. Didn't bother me was just sayin'.

That was the Back Judge, play was in front of him. She is the Down Judge (formerly Head Linesman), she is in charge of the Official chains not the ones on the Line Judge side.

I thought two of the pass interference calls on the Chiefs could have been ruled uncatchable with no flag thrown. But on most of the calls, you could see the defender mugging the receiver. Just poor technique by the defense.

On the other hand, the Tampa defense was outstanding especially on the two fourth down plays close to the end zone. KC was just not going to score TD’s in this game regardless of the ref calls.

Decent website with a good assessment of each individual's game...I'm not white knighting for Thomas as I don't believe a sixth year NFL Official should be working a Super Bowl anyways. Second page of the thread has a ranking of each official I can agree with.

The Deep Officials (Side Judge, Back Judge, Field Judge) had the issues in my opinion this game.

I thought it was a bad game, with bad commercials, and a bad halftime show. It should bounce back. I'm a little surprised viewership is down 10%. Some of it might be habit or routine being disrupted this year, I guess.

It's not really. There were nearly 6 million online streams of the game. When you figure that throughout the country, at least a million TVs are tuned into the game only because of Super Bowl parties, it makes sense.
