Got my first taste of ice dam damage. Minor drywall stains in a couple rooms. Excited to see what horrors await in the attic.

They may actually need those lots this year!

Bigger than the giant mounds of salt.

In the winter of 96/97 in Bozeman on Christmas Eve 24 inches of snow fell in town. They pushed the snow into piles in the middle of Main Street. It was like driving through a tunnel. Parking lots had small ski hills most winters but that one they took up big percentages of the lots. Eventually they used front end loaders and dump trucks and hauled the snow too fields outside of town or to be dumped in the Madison river. Heard both, both might be true.

I really hadn't been out except once over the last 2+ weeks. It honestly took me a half hour to adjust to the really bright sun. And I'm oddly tired after being outside for the better part of three hours.

Encroaching age blows.

Absolutely. That would have been a real mess.

I’m sorry guys but that’s nasty. Even when I used to be able to let my dogs out back I’d go no longer than a week. They’d end up stepping in it and bringing it inside quite often.

well, when it snows 30" in three weeks with single digit temps, those plans go out the window.

Did you dig through snow to find the dog shit?

Sounds like a job for the stepson...let him earn a little ice cream.

shoot the dogs and taxidermy them as a reminder to never allow a living one in your house again.

Wenesday is shaping up to be a dangerous day in Dixie Alley. Not as bad as the 2011 tornado outbreak, but its very serious.

I currently take the dog out every time so it’s easy for me to pick up. When I had invisible fence and two dogs I would stomp out or shovel out an area for them. I realize it’s not what most people do and it’s a lot of extra work for something that doesn’t really matter.

I take my snowblower into the backyard and cut out a dog track. It looks pretty cool.

Calling for 1-3 inches in SW Wisconsin. Obviously hoping it’s on the low end of that and maybe more sleety. Golf supposed to open this Friday up here.

Even if we get it, it's not going to stick for shit on the pavement...and it will be gone by Tuesday/Wednesday

Yep, thank goodness we had all of that warmer weather to get rid of the other crap.

I agree, I just don't know if that will keep my golf courses from opening if it is too wet out, that is my only concern. Ready to start playing after 5 months off.

For potential golf this weekend, I would be worried about the rain/sleet they are calling for on Thursday more than today's precip.
