Got a pair of Darn Tough for Christmas. They're nice. I like that they are made in the U.S.

Need to up your price range.

I bought Bombas about 18 months ago after years of wearing some good ultimax socks from REI. Bombas are much better. They also make an athletic looking compression sock which I need for longer trips after my blood clot a few years ago, which is why I tried them. The black ones work with chinos and loafers if needed. The only thing I do for them is let them air dry after the washing machine.

I still have a few pair of gold toe dress socks for when I need to wear a suit, but I haven't worn a suit for a full year now.

avoid anything by smartwool, overpriced crap

stance has goofy ass colors for you metros to let your rainbow flag fly. but you can't go wrong with a bundle of plain white/plain black socks. and you never lose one in the laundry if you stick to the same solid colors

What, you wear sandals to work? It's always nice to walk into a room and get the aroma of feet. That's real conducive to the work atmosphere. I'm sure your co-workers really appreciate it. 'Hey, let's go eat in One Post's office. Great idea! We can check on his bunions!'

On a serious note, my boss who I've worked for over the past six years, and who I have a real honest relationship with, only 8 months ago realized that I never wear sox. Trust me, if there were any olfactory issues, he would have let me know.

I talked my wife into upgrading our towels. They were fine but we’d had them for a long time and it seemed like it was a good time to splurge. She found a deal through Kohl’s where she could get a set that were originally $230 for $60 (with discounts and Kohl’s cash) so we bought two sets. These things are so thick and heavy that drying off is like wrestling a bear. I am worn out by the time I finish. We both wish we had purchased a less “luxurious” set but are pretty much stuck with them for the foreseeable future.

I just shopped the Darn Tough socks on the recommendation of one of the YouTube guys I follow. I looked at Bombas again, too. I just could not go for the idea of $20+ pair of socks. Ended up buying a six pack of marino wool from Enerwear off Amazon for $24. Turns out, they are not 100% wool, but are very comfortable, and for that price, I just wash them like the rest of my work clothes.

Yes. New towels suck at actually drying water off of you.

I can't let this gem go unacknowledged.
