I have not been in that place, but have played down the street at DOCKS.

I will try to make this.

Nice to hear live music being offered again.

Good luck, Dan!

That's the truth, Frank.
We booked April 30, June 26, and Aug 20th. I was starting to feel our summer would be all the small dives in Wisconsin. IL bars seem to plan on moving ahead.

Honestly, I hope bars/restaurants continue their outdoor thing during the warm weather. Even if its just weekends. It gives them more seating, and gives people who are "afraid" (crazy) a chance to feel safe while dining/drinking out. Bands playing in beer gardens, patios, and parking lots could/should be a big help in that regard.

Thanks Frank, realizing now we need another hour of material...but we've played with each other enough and have enough overlapping influences it'll come together. BigW, hope you can make it and share out where you all are playing as I too miss seeing other bands. Actually hitting the venue a few weeks before the gig to see another friend's group.

I like it to but in the city they are going to have to license all that stuff with more scrutiny. Restaurant owners have taken liberties with the public way

Because the City has literally given them no other option.

MANY public ways around Wrigley are at least partially blocked nearly 100 times a year (in a regular year) and few complain.

Again, MANY of these places don't have another option other than to close. So, tent it up and deal with things in the streets, or let the restaurants open at or near capacity.

And at times people dining in the tents are treated to glimpses of rats running through.

We're still on but the time is now 8--11ish. I will be hitting this place up this Saturday to see the steel guitar band Crazyheart. It is led by the father of our guitarist and they're awfully good...yeah it is Wauconda but it'll be fun. May even buy drinks for bored members.

Drums are in the car, not sure if we'll be streaming live at our Facebook page but I know the venue itself does...starting at 8ish.

Usual first gig things, but a friendly place and we were tipped well by the patrons. Definitely hope they have us back.

The band was accommodated with their own personal chamber pots

Can you post a setlist? Curious what you guys played and was out of town but might like to try to catch a show down the line.

We don't have a set list we do in order, but rather just a list of songs and did what was next based on the mood of the room...

Off the top of my head...

Driving South--Jimi Hendrix
Birds of a Feather and Down with Disease--Phish
Hope You're Feeling Better--Santana
Phonebooth--Robert Cray
Black Cat Bone--Robert Johnson
Hottentot and Chank--John Scofield
Simple Song--The Meters
Everything's Everything--Booker T.
Melting Pot--Booker T. and the MG's
Driven to Tears--The Police
Evil in Your Eye--Church of the Cosmic Skull
Grateful When Your Dead--Kula Shaker
Gut Feeling--Devo
Even If You Don't, Roses are Free, Transitions, Did You See Me?, The Grobe--Ween
Duck Soup--An actual original

PM me if you'd like a link to some of our rehearsals from January/February (30 lbs. ago for me....a little less chunky now that in those vids).

I'm embarrassed to say that I am not familiar with most of your songs but know of a majority of the artists. I think it is great that you guys can read the room and shift gears on songs played.

I wanted to make this, but I'm stuck in the middle of some drama with my first-born. Interesting set list, and I mean that as a positive.

Keep us posted, as I would like to make it out eventually to see your band.

Looks like Even Flow in Geneva on 7/9 is the next one for sure. We are splitting the bill with our guitar and bassists other band (JBG).

I watched some of the clips. You guys sound great.....was that a real Leslie cabinet I saw?
Also a lot of switching from matched / traditional grip. Good stuff.

We had our show at DOCK's on April 30th. It was a very good night. The garage door on the side was open so needless to say there was a bit more freedom on display than I was expecting.

Good luck on the next show....that's a bit too far out there for me, but I've had good experiences playing out in Woodstock. Live bands there seem to be well received by the locals.
