First of all, thank you to bigfan, I mean the three wisemen, I mean the two wisemen for once again green lighting this. There will be a section created for it. This will be the only thread for this posted anywhere but the CFMB March Madness section but I may bump it from time to time.

This will be the twelfth annual March Madness tournament.

The general criteria for this will be:
Board history
Performance since last April
Increased importance for these:
Performance since the new year
Performance from now until selection day.


Note: I will be sticking with the 68 team format of years past.

Note 2: Limited attendance will be allowed.

This will be scheduled to start next week(first four games and probably the rest of the first round), and all rounds will be done by PM/posting your vote instead of voting on the poll I'll be spreading it out a little more for the first rounds.

The first round will start Monday, or next Tuesday, or next Wednesday, or next Thursday, or next Friday but definitely by then.

If you feel you may be on the bubble for this then post your way into the tournament. I will be watching. Every year there are people who post in this thread who make it but otherwise wouldn't.

Please, no PMs.

Seeding will be based not only on where they would rank but also to make interesting matchups in the first round.

Once you win, prepare to get potshots from all the stupid, uncreative, brutish, insensitive, dumb-ass, ignorantly blunt Neanderthals on the board. It's like the idiots become even swarthier, even more Southern European. I intentionally became a worse poster afterwards.

The best part about it is when people canvas for votes. Those are just hilarious. I swear, my best posts came from doing that. And when posters start pulling for other posters. RFDC, FF, TP, and others have been hilarious in doing so. Don Tiny and Brick have written some of the funniest things I have ever read in their general comments.

My suggestions:

1) If you are gonna beg for votes, ya gotta rap. That would be awesome.

2) Regular Americans only in the Final Four.

3) A prize for best board rivalry. We could purchase the complete deluxe Blue-Ray version of Bosom Buddies and give them to the winning pair.

Man, a few board rivalries have made me sad. One this year, and one in 2016. I hate that.
