Just to let everyone know, Jay got to do the show from the Sun-Times newsroom today. I guess they gave him a visitor's pass.

My guess is that the Sun-Times could still use the advertising from that little glass wall behind him.

I thought I read it somewhere that it was a one-time only appearance to keep the peace between ESPN and the Times; as Jay sprung this one on everyone just within 24 hours.

They did de-activate his security card however. Talk about not wasting any time.

Chris Deluca just plasters him in this article. Granted, he went for comments from Ozzie and Ken Harrelson; so he was going to get cannon fodder; but man, Deluca doesn't spare putting in his own feelings either:

Oh shit. North and Marriotti gone with weeks of eachother? If this works in threes, who's next?

I know- Marriotti's favorite- Dan Bernstien.

Geez I hope the Sports Gods will shine on us with one more removal of sports media trash!

I was thinking the same thing earlier today. I would guess it'd have to be a sports media person that people (forgive me for using this term) "love to hate". So, the next could be Bernstein, Coppack, or Giangreco. I'd go with Chet. He's gonna get alot of chances to screw up with the Bears season beginning.

On another note, on ATH today, Jay was at ESPN Zone, and they joked about him being in his basement, and he joked that there was a "For Sale" sign outside. Anyone want to buy his home?
