After watching Justice League it got me thinking of who played the role the best. Now there are ones that almost all can agree upon Connery as Bond and Reeve as Superman for example. So Who do you think played the role the best. Has to have been played by at least twice by separate actors. Can be on Big or small screen and for now let us just stick to the super hero genre.
I will start with the hardest one. Not only because there have been some good portrayals but because it is actually two characters in one. Batman/Bruce Wayne. Now for me easily the best portrayal of Bruce was Michael Keaton. He showed how really fucked up Bruce was and how he was not really a functioning member of humanity.
Batmanwise I know the common pick is Bale but I like Conroy. I know it is a voice only portrayal but he gives the right gravity and tone to the role. Plus, he is the star in what I think is about two of the best batman movies of all time,Mask of the Phantasm and Return of the Joker.

Next The Riddler. For me and it is hands down Cory Michael Smith from Gotham. Over 5 seasons he showed us how Edward went from meek scientist to full blown psychotic
Killer. He did it also with style and flair. I really wish he would have been used in the upcoming movies.

Flash, this one is a no brainier even though I loved the 80s version Grant Gufstiston has the aura of Barry Allen dawn. One thing he brings that a lot of others seem to lack is not only a air of justice and goodness but the fact that Barry loves to run. They showed a little of that in J.L(SC) at the end. But in the Flash you get it almost every episode.

I will say this about Superman. Routh got a raw deal. His performance was good, the material was shit.

So who are yours?

Christopher Reeve was nothing special as Superman. George Reeves was awesome in the origjnal series. Henry Cavill has played it best on the big screen.

All the Batman actors have done a pretty good job.

I don't think Keaton is hands down the best batman, but he is the best one. The 2 Keaton Batmans are far better than the Nolan Trilogy. Burton's perfectly mixed Grimdark and Comic Book fun, whereas Nolan's went too far one way and Schumacher's the other. Honorable mention to all the voice actors in the animated HQ.

I'm looking forward to seeing Robert Pattinson as Batman.

Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises are the only comic book movies I need to see. Nolan brilliantly combined the War on Terror and Occupy Wall Street story lines with 2 badass villains in Joker and Bane. You can take every other comic book movie and throw it right in the garbage. Thank you.

I can't believe you went Batman and Riddler, but didn't even mention Joker. I think it might be harder to say which Joker was the best:
Romero, Hamill, Nicholson, Ledger, Leto, and Phoenix.
