Maybe do it in 30 minute increments for 8 episodes.

they only need to be this long when you release a movie starring several characters who you never bothered to give back story to in any previous movies that led up to that movie.

That was the issue with Justice League. Its like if Marvel released Avengers right after Iron Man 1.

There were MANY issues with 2017 Justice League.

But I do agree Joss Whedon/WB disregarding the character building that Zack Snyder filmed was a major issue.

It's not like the pre-JL movies were very good (maybe WW), but you could see they were trying for something they just didn't get a hold of. JL didn't even have that.

Just watched an interview from Snyder. He hasn't been told if he will be allowed to make sequels to this. That is disappointing, but I am sure he will be able to. Also, I guess they dive into the death of Robin with the Joker.

I’m 20min in, and this is an entirely different film.

For the better.

I made about an hour in bits & pieces today. Much better so far.

But the baseline raises memories of the Bears QB room or McCain v July debates.

Yup, I just got done. I think it is way better than the other version. I can see why the guy who played Cyborg was pissed with the other version,he was cut almost totally out of t he movie.

Yeah it was good. I wish this was more in line with what they did originally. This sets up a future universe that won't ever come to be now.

I've got 40mins left to watch. But one of the characters did say something about a multiverse in the film.

Yeah. Theres some cool stuff in there that could've paid off in movies. Maybe HBO continues the story with limited series.

Yup, they even linked it into the Arrowverse

Plus, at the end it was not supposed to be Martian Manhunter. Was going to be John Stewart aka Green Lantern#4

I’m so confused why Joss Whedon and WB cut that Barry Allen seen where he saves Iris West in the car accident.

Amongst MANY other scenes that were cut in the 2017 version.

I finished watching it last night. The first part was terrible and the second part, much like the first release of the movie, was OK. They added a lot of cheesy, slow-motion action scenes with even cheesier music played over them. The Amazons are about to face Steppenwolf, an extra-dimensional being and destroyer of worlds. Their strategy?

TO THE HORSES! AND BRING YOUR BOW AND ARROW!

He literally throws they and their horses around like rag dolls before taking what he wants and leaving.

Nice work, ladies.

This portion of the movie was excruciating. Lots of bad, overly dramatic slow-motion scenes and awful, wistful music.

I like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman and am fine with the actors who play them. The way Cyborg, Flash, and Aquaman are presented both in the initial release and again in the movie is not interesting or compelling to me and I just cannot warm up to the actors who play them. Cyborg's backstory involves more terrible slow-motion scenes, mostly of him playing football. A cheesy slow-motion scene showing Flash saving a girl involved in a car crash and the even worse music they play over it is something I'd expect to see in a commercial for a show on the CW.

Considering he was just wearing his jammies, the usually intense Bruce Wayne seemed pretty casual about Martian Manhunter alighting on his property when he doesn't know if he is friend or foe.

I can't remember much from the 2017 release, but was the scene with Lois Lane and Superman's mother at the kitchen table in that movie, or newly shot/re-shot) for this? On its own, the scene was mostly boring ("I miss him so much"), but then when his mother says to Lois, "you need to return to the living" (as Lois had been completely withdrawn since Superman's death), I was thinking maybe that was a new line that references Snyder's own loss of his daughter and his "return to the living" by redoing the movie.
