I’ve never been a real fixture in the bar scene up here, but I do know a lot of the prostitution died down when they closed the 2 strip clubs down around 2016/2017.

The drugs are still around, but idk to what degree.

The biker element was a thing before the boom, and will be here when all the oil is gone.

2013-2015 Boom town ND really was a sight to behold tho.

Every story you hear or read about this area from that time, no matter how exaggerated you think it may be, most definitely had some truth to it.

There’s actually a book called “The Good Hand” that just came out which is a memoir about a person’s experience in 2013 Williston.

It’s not bad so far through 60 some pages.
