Or Northwestern. And if you're in Indiana and didn't get into IU, you went to Purdue.

Illinois people would also opt with IU over U of I. Indiana rules.

No way I would have gotten into NW but plenty of people didn't want high school 2.0 in Champaign in our school.

If you did you’d know it was NU.

Never considered Nebraska either.

It moved up a notch when St. Joseph's College closed.

Princeton is the nicest campus I ever saw.

I'm guessing you went a while ago. They had some pretty ugly spots in prominent locations that have been torn down.

It's better than the drab limestone of IU though.

I have never visited IU's campus. I don't claim to have seen more than most, but out of comparison to other Big 10 campus and around the area....Purdue was incredibly clean and nicely laid out.

We also saw Georgetown which is more comparable to Ivy league stuff....it certainly was beautiful, but I don't even consider that as it's not a realistic option.

IL
All of the IL Directional schools
Northwestern
Iowa
UW Madison
Ohio State

I'm taking Purdue over all of them. I was at UW Madison in early 2020....that place seems to have gone downhill. Seemed quite dirty.

I liked Ohio State's campus a lot more than I thought I would.

In the fall, we will do a SE trip and visit Georgia, Clemson, and NC State....I'm sure that'll be interesting.

The campus has changed quite a bit over the last 10-15 years. Both good and bad in someways. I always liked that the campus layout, it's pretty compact compared to most. I really enjoyed my time there.

that was always appreciated when you were going building to building for different classes. even the basketball and football stadiums are right there next to the campus. don;t need to take a train to the other side of town to go to a game

With all due respect - and I mean, with all due respect - Purdue may have the ugliest campus I’ve ever seen.

Purdue...0.08

It moved up a notch when St. Joseph's College closed.

Princeton is the nicest campus I ever saw.

West Point is the one for me. Especially with the history (& propaganda)

But I've never been to Pepperdine.

Princeton on the east coast, Pepperdine on the west coast and Notre Dame in the Midwest for me.

Texas at Austin was really cool to me another lifetime ago.

Notre Dame is beautiful for sure. i have seen that campus. It's also not in the realistic view of options for my son to attend, so I don't really consider. Same with Gerogetown and many others.

Purdue, UW Madison, and Ohio State are all options.....Purdue was drastically nicer than those other 2 IMO.

I love seeing the G-Town campus ahead as you pass Arlington National and head north on the GW Parkway. I've never been on the campus though. There is a coffee shop nearby that I meet a family member at every time I am in town.
