Nardi, there's no way to test whether or not we live in a multiverse. Therefore, it is still very much a theory, and I've never heard anyone claim that it was an ironclad law of physics. Up the thread you seemed to equate "creator theory" with "undiscovered physics." If you're using "creator theory" the same way here, I agree with you.

I am. However, creator theory is totally dismissed, while multiverse is met with, "hmm, interesting". There is no reason why creator theory can't be given a "hmm" instead of "get that religious shit outta here."

There's at least 2 possibilities of it NOT being religious. All it is, is a slap in the face to those that hope and/or believe it's religious. That seems to be very important to 60% of the scientists out there. The slap in the face.

It has gotten really strident, and I blame guys like Richard Dawkins and Sam Harris for making it that way. If you're trying to persuade people, calling them idiots or slapping them in the face is not the best way to go about things.

the creator could have made the multiverse.. and possibly the creator doesnt even know where the fuck he came from. the only fact right now is nobody knows what the fuck is going on and yet most of us arent smart enough to recognize that. maybe many are just scared of not knowing, so they make invisible ideas as friends. im one of those who take comfort in not knowing... because we dont know, nothing really matters, and its kinda nice to think about every time you fuck up in life.
