I knew a guy who escaped from Gacy. His name is Mickel Reed. I was disappointed they didn't mention him.

i had heard (in safer times after he was caught) that when they were building the brickyard mall, gacy the contractor was there looking for work. we were kids in that neighborhood. unsettling.

there was already a good doc on he and dean corrl called "the clown and the candy man" i think...these documentaries swarm like flies when they come out. it's getting really ridiculous.

I am amused by these PI attorneys who try to paint themselves as civil rights attorneys because it makes them sound heroic. Sure the cases involve civil rights. What they don't tell you is that they are civil cases involving multi million dollar fees and some that even allow for treble damages.

If you look at and judge serial killing the same way we judge sports I have always contended that Gacy was the absolute GOAT organized serial killer.


The guy killed 20+ without ever having to violently overpower someone. He was such a good manipulator that he was able to convince every one of his victims to voluntarily agree to put on handcuffs. In terms of organized vs disorganized, I can't think of a more successful organized serial killer in modern times.

Makes Ted Bundy look like a slob.
