Let's also not pretend his acts were all that dissimilar to the acts of another player who was recently fined and suspended for using an anti-semitic slur on a social media platform. To say nothing of Durant's own familiarity with liking anti-semitic rants about certain people in the banking industry, not suspending him for trying to slur someone as a homosexual while handing down a suspension for a religious slur makes it look as though the NBA finds it more palatable when certain players over others say hateful things about immutable qualities.
