He couldn’t hack it in the Hollywood game. Didn’t like having to deal with execs messing with his stuff. But he did work on “Men Don’t Leave” years later. Underrated flick.

On imdb it says he felt weird after Risky Business blew up and moved out of Hollywood to avoid the attention. He was later quoted as saying:

"I squandered a really good career. What can I say? Looking back, I could've taken advantage of "Risky'"s success to a far greater extent. I could've done more."
