AT THE ABSOLUTE MOST, all the PGA could do would be to not award any FedEx Cup points for the Masters. That would be the worst they could do. The Masters is technically an invitational event, so the PGA could say whatever they want and 99% of the invited players would still play Augusta anyway. You can qualify for the following year's Masters and current year's other majors depending on where you finish, but even then the R&A has say for The Open, and the USGA has say for the US Open. So PGA could take away maybe 2-3 PGA Championship qualifiers. That and points would be it.

Also, I'd be willing to wager there are more women golf fans and women golfers than there are NFL fans. I've seen ladies only leagues. I've seen older women out there, particularly on 9 hole courses. I would think women play golf more than watch football.

I was expecting Julie to tweet out her horror at the shooting mass murder that occurred in South Carolina. Apparently a man went and shot and killed 5 people at a doctors office and himself.
Given that the shooter was identified as a retired professional athlete, I very much expected her rage to show itself on Twitter as she had shown in other, non athlete related shootings. But she's silent so far. I wonder what is different?
