I stopped at a friend's house yesterday. He set us up outside with chairs and heat. Couple snacks. Flight of fairly mid to high middle bourbon/rye/japanese whiskey. Probably had 3-4 shots total over a couple hours.

The highlight was a 1998 Bolivar cigar. Smooth.

My friend used to collect cigars and has some really nice ones. No idea how good a 1998 Bolivar is.

What is the limit at which point you need to trim a goatee?

It's borderlining Sons of Anarchy role player length. I don't want to use a trimmer. It would cut it back too much.

I think I'll have to go with a comb-guide/scissor combo. I figure if it gets long enough to do the funky goatee pony-tail thing that I've gone too far and no longer qualify for my current profession.

I'm nearly there. Grooming is needed I believe.

I decide that if I notice a bend in the chin area its too damn long I can't describe it ant better than I notice a line through it and that is a sign that that part needs a trimming. Mustache, by cracky, part is usually in need to trimming way more often.

I used to drink vodka on the rocks and now I wonder why. Sipping whiskey on the rocks is such a better choice.
