Really? A downright shitty movie, you know it's garbage, you can't believe you are watching it and wasting your life, and then you realize, "hey, I like it, I must be a moron"?

Roadhouse certainly does not qualify. I had to really think about it because Armageddon doesn't qualify either. Then I thought, Last Action Hero? Still no, it's too good. The Room? Nope. Legit enjoyable.

Showgirls. I have never seen the entire movie in one sitting. It's just too godawful. But I have seen the entire movie through 3 or 4 sittings.

That's a great one.

Freddy Got Fingered may be the perfect movie for this thread. I can't imagine I would ever be friends with someone who doesn't love that movie.

Any other terrible movies you just love?

Murder by Death was great...not bad great, but actually great...well at least very good.

I can't figure out if Vision Quest is godawful or a masterpiece

Mathew Modine is 26 and unbelievable physically as an 18 year old but he is such a dipshit that he seems emotionally 18. Jake from Sixteen Candles is pretty fantastic as Kuch. Shute is sufficiently intimidating. How am I supposed to believe these guys wrestled at 168 pounds? Modine is like 7 feet tall and Shute looks like a linebacker.

Great soundtrack. Some cheesy acting.

I think Forest Whitaker played an athlete in every movie in the 80s but he's got a Baby Huey body so I don't know why he would have been the choice.

I never liked Matthew Modine.

A lot of the ones mentioned are good. Face Off, The Sharknados, The Running Man.

Harold and Kumar escape guantanimo bay
Just one of the guys

None of these would even make the cut for the wal mart 5$ bin.

I connected to it.

Let's not forget that Caddyshack was an absolute horseshit film. Absolute garbage as a story. The ball was dropped--repeatedly. Even the book about Caddyshack was pointless. Probably the funniest movie of the 80s, but I never sit through the entire thing without fast-forwarding through the 60-80 minute mark.

All comedy movies from the 80s have aged poorly. Three men and a baby is the only exception.

It's still interesting to me that people think "Fast Times At Ridgemont High" is funny. The funniest scene is Sean Penn having a pizza delivered to his classroom.

Back to School has not aged poorly. Rodney's one liners will forever be gold.

Rick's wrong per sentence ratio went up considerably with this post.
