i think were gonna get a lot of cgi for the next year. it takes about a year of post after shooting to release a film. theyre still working under stupid guidelines, so dont expect to get anything real for awhile.

Apparently, the Sub Zero actor has signed a 5 movie deal connected to this franchise.

This film is the prequel in a planned 3 movie arc.

Which I suppose raises the question...for those who played the game, who would you most want to see in the 2nd & 3rd movies?

I’d go Smoke, Motaro, Shao Khan, Baraka. A lot more Scorpion next time would be great.

first part from the past - action scene was really good.

middle really sucked. the kano guy was annoying.

ending fight was really good too.

i liked all the gore. they weren't half assing it.

6 out of 10 stars.

Just don’t have big expectations re: plot and you’ll be fine. It’s a movie based on video game characters; I’ve watched it twice and enjoyed it equally both times.
