Lol, I don't know what the fuck she was looking at. I've done a Google search on walk-in vaccinations in Lisle/Navistar/Moderna etc. and don't get anything even resembling what she posted. The vast parking lots at Navistar were essentially empty and there were no signs anywhere. The security guards and receptionists had no idea what I was talking about. Part of me wanted to show them the screenshot of her Twitter post but I immediately realized how ludicrous that would have been.

Navistar's security is pretty tight, they may have an employee vax clinic, but I highly doubt they would host one for the general public.

They were a competitor for awhile but got out after about 4 years. They did everything wrong. Vendors used to complain about them all the time because of their security. Everywhere else the vendors just show up and go thru the buildings and get their counts. There they would have to wait for someone and then they'd be escorted so it took them a lot longer.

As I understand it, Volkswagon will be buying them out.

Welp, I never get the flu shot and have not been ill other than minor colds since high school (coughing fits previously described notwithstanding). But I felt the Covid vaccine was the right thing to do from a society perspective. Hopefully it is pretty evident around here that despite being a Libertarian, I am also pragmatic. I do not let my politics cloud real life.

But I am not sure I can handle the second one. I am completely serious too...I am frightened. I have felt near death at multiple times in the last few days. I feel okay right now.

From what I have read and people I have talked to, my symptoms are one set of “normal” reactions. The severity is most likely driven by me already having antibodies. I have considered the doctor route but not sure what he can do for me.
