Tom Brady has taken a discount for years, with both the Patriots and Bucs...Rodgers has no problem consuming 37 million in cap space, and he wonders why there are holes on the team. Moron.

It's exciting to think of all the horizontal plays Nagy can call for Rodgers should we trade for him.

Are the 49ers set on Lance or Jones at #3? I'd love to see Rodgers go home.

I reported all season that Rodgers and LaFleur didn't get along.

that 4th and goal cowardly FG attempt must have been the final straw

If you decide within months to get rid of Danica and get engaged to a CA actress type you ask to get traded. Especially when CA is home.

Nah, the whole drafting of Love and the fact they wouldn't give him a new contract is all this is about. That coach he supposedly hates, helped get him the MVP this year.

Rodgers threw some shade at him after the playoff loss this year.

It's ok to admit that I was right once again.

Rodgers is unhappy for a variety of reasons, with some of it dating back to last year's draft when the Packers didn't inform him before trading up to draft a quarterback with their first-round pick. Some took this as a sign that his days in Green Bay could he numbered.

He also is at a different point in his personal life, having recently gotten engaged to actress Shailene Woodley. Rodgers also has hosted "Jeopardy!" and said it would be a dream to become the full-time host. He could play football and also host "Jeopardy!"

Weird.

He wants a new contract because he knows it will long him in there longer, it is more about knowing where he is going to be.

90% of the residents of Green Bay want out of Green Bay.

Why would anyone expect Rodgers to be different?

If that is true dont they have to consider the 49er offer that was supposedly out there?

Rappaport just tweeted out they have been working on a new contract but couldn't get it agreed to so far, apparently Rodgers is pissed.

Also, if they do want to trade him, they would be stupid to do it before June 1st due to the cap ramifications.

Don't worry. Your GM astutely drafted Jordan Love last year in anticipation of precisely such a contingency.

All you need to do is wait for Nagy to be fired, hire him as your coach, and the Pack's transition to the 2019 Chicago Bears will be complete!

The contestant taunting him about the FG on Jeopardy was the last straw.

Crazy that Rodgers is a Jay Cutler knee sprain away from never having played in a Super Bowl.

It's funny to imagine Aaron Rodgers spending his week taping episodes of Jeopardy! and then showing up to the 49ers building on Friday and being like "OK, what are we going to do to beat the RAIDERS?".

He doesn't have a lot of leverage, but if they are going to trade him I think it would take a lot more than the #3 pick and Jimmy G's liability of a contract

Rodgers was pissed off. That's why he got the award. The stupidity of his coaches and organization has cost them Super Bowls. They have more than 1 lucky Super Bowl if they invested in the talent around him like the Buccaneers did last year for Brady.

The Packers have 2 Super Bowl wins in the past 30 years despite having 2 of the 10 greatest quarterbacks of all time.

Sometimes you just have to cut the cancer out before it metastasizes.

Good luck with the Jordan Love Era, FF.
