I enjoyed the first season of Jack Ryan on Amazon, but I got bored with the second. This looks well made, but it's the same standard indestructible hero out for revenge action plot.

I'll watch, but it's probably going to be nothing like the book as the book takes place during Vietnam in 1970 and this takes place today.

I do encourage reading the book.

Clancy should have wrote one book and then quit. I've never gotten so bored so quick with what I originally thought was a good writer.

His first 6 books are good. Without Remorse was the last good one he wrote. Everything that followed was just tangential trash that was several hundred pages too long. He apparently stopped using an editor around that time and it shows.

i thought michael b jordan acted well. there just wasn't much of a "conspiracy" and you could easily figure out the story.

It was the book I wish they'd make an accurate movie about as it is a lot less jargon laden compared to the ones made. I read a lot of Clancy over the years and towards the end of the run it was basically going through the motions.

Michael B Jordan was good, but it was just an ok movie.

Very mediocre yet very watchable. Decent way to kill a couple hours.

Personally, I’ll be sampling The Hunger Games and Mrs. Doubtfire. A combination of the two would be pure gold, but those pricks in Hollywood lack the courage to make true art these days.
