I hope Rodgers isn’t gone this year from the Pack. It would be more satisfying to start beating them while Rodgers is still the guy. We never really got that with Favre, if the Packers are going to finally catch a dagger to the heart I’d like it to be with Rodgers at the helm -and I’d like it to be the Bears that do it.

Rodgers getting traded to Denver in June. Cap hit will be less for Packers at that time. If not, Elway's gonna be pissed. Broncos passed on drafting a QB 1st round b/c they expect to be getting Rodgers. Drew Lock goes to GB in the trade. If the Packers wouldn't take Lock the Broncos were going to trade down to collect more 2022 draft picks to trade for Rodgers. But since Lock is going they won't need as much draft capital going back to GB in the trade.

Why would the Packers want Lock? They already have a young QB they need to develop. If anything, the Broncos should keep Lock and hope he can learn something from Rogers.

But the story with that is, he had praised Kumerow the day before and talked about what a good player he was and the next day they cut Kumerow. He was one of his buddies, and as a player like Rodgers gets older with a team, you have very few close friends.

I could see baseball, hockey, and basketball players needing a close friend or two on the team. These sports have long road trips and long seasons. I am less sympathetic in football where there are only eight road games and short roads trips.

Rodgers is paid a lot of money to play, and football teams are very fluid in terms of personnel. Sorry if your (butt) buddy is gone.

The Packers are in a state of complete disarray.

Not only has the GM alienated their HOF QB to such an extent that he is ridiculing the GM as Crumbs Krause, but the QB has also been discouraging Packer free agents from re-signing with the team.

Erik Kumerow is his dad. Jake is the great grandson of Tony Accardo. Thats a few generations down but I wouldn't fuck with him.

The free agent thing cycling today is utterly ridiculous. They were NEVER signing Linsley and they didn't even make him an offer. Who the fuck else did they lose? Jamal Williams? Bahk and Jones signed back this year as did Clark.
