don't know. he was older than i thought.

seemed to be the only pro at channel 2 that brought some levity to the broadcasts and special features.

jacobson, kurtis, bulldog drummond, susan anderson...even gene siskel. they were all very serious and their presentations were dead serious.

I remember that he used to do the offbeat features at the end of the 6pm news. And he hosted Two on Two for a few years.

I'm disappointed that Tommy didn't refer to Bob Wallace as a dish.

haha. i remember dr. barry kaufman on channel 5 who would make a food allergy sound like stage 3 1/2 cancer.

Roger Field. Same thing, though; you watched him and your anxiety grew. At least, that's what my dad said. But it was better than watching My Three Sons, which sucked balls.

ok, looks familiar.

1970s channel 2 news people are really getting up there in age. wallace was 80 in the past year and he was one of the younger ones in the 70s.
