They've absolutely ruined the game doing this shit.

You could have a 1-1 classic in regulation and now in extra innings it's super easy to score. It's just stupid. Good relievers get their ERA's ruined from this too!

Nothing better than teams having to struggle to score, use strategy, in order to come out on top, no matter how long it takes. A dramatic game-winning hit after 14 innings. Pitchers pinch-hitting or pinch-running. Now it's ridiculous, both teams score easily with this man on 2nd base bullshit and the game is over in 10 innings. Why not at least start with a man on first, so there's a possibility of double play?!

Get back to the original rules and STOP FUCKING WITH THE DAMN GAME!!!!!

Flipping channels late night and catching the end of a long extra innings game have been taken away from us. Can't have long extra innings games when data calls for 8 pitchers being used regularly. Having the runner on 2nd takes away from the late inning heroics. Rizzo slapping a dribbler to the spot abandoned by the shifted ss scoring the fake runner isn't the same. They haven't destroyed baseball yet, but their trying. A lot of people will stop watching if they move the pitchers mound back.

That's part of the problem. It's like when the All-Star game ended in a tie because Torre and Brenly had used every pitcher on the staff to make sure they all got playing time. Then when it came to extra innings, there was no one left.
