Boogs even was mentioning about how LaRussa didnt know the rule earlier today.

It is a gimmick but there is solid reasoning behind it. Bullpen pitchers. They get abused. They've been getting abused for 2 decades. And this guy made a solid point that up until I read it, it was just a feeling in my gut that I couldn't put into words:

It doesn’t matter what size the picture is, it is stupid and should be immediately reverted back to real big league baseball.

No the individual efforts were still impressive. It was the illegitimate ending to a legitimate big league game that was stupid.

Ever notice how there seems to be more and more people in the stands the later into extra innings the game goes because it's so exciting and everybody loves it? No? I wonder why.
