Sandwich is on point. The sauce is delicious. Wendy's was always my go to place for chicken sandwiches but those new poppers suck!

I disagree. I think it is a bad attempt at the Popeye's sandwich.

Their hot sauce just doesn't have any flavor. It is just spicy. I don't think it adds anything to the sandwich other than to make it hot.

I like the taste of the Popeye's sauce not just the impact of spiciness.

i agree that the Popeye's sandwich is better but I thought that the McDonalds spicy sandwich is a definite improvement on the older McChicken and other iterations, and you can find a McDonalds much easier than a Popeyes in most cases.

It's better than a McChicken.

If that is what we are rooting for as the pinnacle of society, then shut it all down, WE HAVE SUCCEEDED!!

Honestly, though, I hate McDonald's. There is literally nothing there I like but this new spicy chicken is what I'll order but, in that respect, I was cool with the 2 Spicy McChickens for $3 deal.

The fries are still good most of the time.

I only learned this week that McDonald's gets their Coca-Cola goo in stainless steel drums as opposed to the plastic bags everybody else gets. I always thought the McDonald's Coke thing was a myth but maybe they actually do get a better product for their mix. The Bandit claims they also have chilled lines for the dispensers to provide optimum coldness. I still am skeptical of that.

Bandit is correct.

Another tip to make your drink choice a little better. Order a small water right before ordering your Coke. It makes sure you do not get any extra soda from the previous selection in the dispenser

The spicy chicken sandwich is ok. I actually liked the spicy mcchickens.

McDonald's is pointless without anything good on their value menu.

The Coca Cola at McDonald's is the only thing on the menu worth stopping for. I have yet to find another fast food place or restaurant that even comes close when it comes to the refreshment of that first big sip of a McDonald's Coke. Like SHARK, it has BITE

Plus, Mcdonalds is the one fast food place I know that doesn't rape you with soda prices. A buck for a large Coke, can't beat it!

As already mentioned....whatever McDonalds does with their soda is far superior to anyone else.

Their coffee since the McCafe branding is also very good. I've never understood the popularity of Dunkin coffee. I think it's awful. I drink my coffee black and McDonalds is the best drive thru option in the event I don't make coffee at home.

Their "food"....I learned to leave that alone years ago. I'm too old to put that shit in my body.

a friend in college used to get all serious and then say, "McDonalds coke....is no joke"

He wasn't lying, it really is better than any other version you can get.

I was told that directly from the then McDonald's general counsel thirty years ago. It was something he really went into detail about and seemed really enthused about.

that map is incorrect. It's soda in Wisconsin. Learned it early on after moving back up here after living in IL for about 7 years.

The only thing I ever get from there is the Egg McMuffin. Yesterday I was heading home and feeling like crap so I decided to swing through and grab something quick for lunch. It was the first time in years that I got something other than the McMuffin. Got a quarter pounder with cheese and a small fry. It sucked. When did the quality there get so bad?

Did you ever try calling it fast food in front of a mcdonald's executive? I was doing work for them and they actually take it as an offense. That must be one of those things drilled into them at corporate retreats

the spicy mcchickens are better than the spicy crispy chicken imo. the sauce is a mess. worse than a McRib.

Soda is an ingredient. Pop is a refreshment. Soda is an adjective, pop is the noun.

End of discussion

What I wish McD's would bring back is their cheese fries that they had out for a test run a year or so ago.

Actually we didn't talk about the business long, he and the professor were far more interested in talking about health care waste and reform. In 1992.

But years later one of my son's teammate's father worked in corporate McDonald's and yeah, he was really cultish in talking about their products.
