baseball manager to me is like president. if he's the guy in charge when times are good, he gets all the credit. if he's the guy in charge when times are bad, he gets all the blame.

i think they hired a proven winner in tony and the guys have upped their game to meet his standards.

He’s not, but his OBP is nuts in light of that. I still like him in the lineup given how many free swingers they have (when the whole roster isn’t injured). He’s just been awful behind the plate.

He wasn't paid to come here and draw walks. He was paid to be an offensive force in the middle of this lineup, and he hasn't done that yet.

YES! and also with the Dodgers. He's a framing savant though. It's noticeable when Collins catches. Grandal is going to get you 4 strikes a game that Collins can't get. But what's it worth?

Leury Garcia currently has a better avg, slg%, and mor RBI than Grandal.
