No, it's quite understandable. I'm 61 and the processing speed in my brain is going down. That doesn't mean my decision making has been compromised. It's just a little slower and eventually it will be compromised. How can it not? I s'pose there are exceptions, but I'm 100% that LaRussa isn't one of them. Not at 76.

I was hard on Tony 2 weeks ago so I have to be nice to him right now. He has done a good job managing the last week or so. I can't even pin the 2 KC losses on him as situational hitting is one thing he can't control. The line-ups were fine and the pitching/bullpen decisions made sense.

The main thing for the manager of a team like this or even the 2016 Cubs is don't fuck up. Hopefully getting these first games past him has put him back into the swing of things.
