that alone should be enough for a full on revolution. for context, the framers of this country went batshit crazy over moderate taxes.

i have been very vocal about it the past month. at the gym i tell the checkout lady "are we done with these yet? it's forever isn't it? they made the rules based off science and data and now theyre just going by faith".

i feel the biggest problem this past year is not enough people complaining. we have to drive these people crazier than we have. i wear my mask down past my nose on purpose, i love seeing angry complaints online about it.

I would hope that within a month mask wearers will be looked at as strange as a person holding an umbrella on a sunny day.

Mask wearers need to be karenized the same way non mask wearers were. Then attitudes will change.

I'm going to the old-people drinking restaurant for lunch today. The kind of place that's still called a Supper Club.

They didn't wear masks prior to this.

I fully expect to see a bunch of drunken 70-year-olds running around naked and celebrating.

Actually it sounds like he watched the South Park vaccination special on HBO Max. The old people pretty much did that.

I was in Wisconsin last week for 8 days (near Janesville) and everywhere had a masks required sign.
I didn't see anyone not wearing a mask at Walmart or Piggley Wiggly.

I’m in Portland right now and survived the first night without ANTIFA killing me. Indoor dining is in, and I saw no one wearing masks.

Janesville is a gutter and doesn' count. Most there wear masks to keep from inhaling 2nd hand meth.

The national chain stores still require them as do the grocery stores though I have seen some people without them occasionally. Anything small or local doesn't really give a shit. If you wore one into a supply house I reckon they might have a laugh at your expense.

This mask shedding stuff went down yesterday. Everything I have seen aside from Home Depot today was prior to that. I expect them to amend their signs shortly.

My Dr. Ken observation is that restaurants are a devil-may-care, caution to the wind scenario since you can't eat or drink with a mask so people just take them off upon seating no matter how close they are to someone or when a mask-wearing server comes by. And that was before yesterday.

I was at Mariano's this morning. Didn't see icegirl. No wine-drinking allowed while shopping. All wearing masks but some rebels didn't robe-up the mask until they got a few steps inside. It was a mask-free Running Man kind of deal in the parking lot.

I've never worn a mask in the parking lot of a store this entire time. Always put it on a few feet before walking in and take it off as soon as i walk out the door. It's always been weird to me to see people getting out of their cars with masks already on.

Agreed. The only time I have ever done that is when I'm carrying my kid is one hand, and holding a bag or whatever in the other hand.

That is because you were in the shadow of Dane county. Go north of WI 60. There you will find that TRUMP 2024 signs are abundant and mask-wearing is non existent.

I'm going to do a little bar hopping downtown (for a small WI town) tomorrow. I don't plan wearing the mask anywhere but around my wrist. The wear it in the door to not wear it for an hour while you drink or eat charade is absolutely stupid. I don't think it will be an issue at all. I ate breakfast 2 weeks ago in the same downtown and the entire staff other than the cooks were mask free.

I start putting on the mask about 20 feet from the door for the grocery store. I was usually a late-adopter with that method. Most people I saw were usually watching to see if I was going to put it on before I went inside.

Today nobody had a mask on in the parking lot prior to a few feet from the door or inside.

I feel like a crazy person having noticed any of this, remembering it, and remembering to the point that I'm talking about it now.
