Did you ever get tested for covid? They say the 1st shot is more likely to have side effects if you’ve already got some antibodies.

I did get tested in September and was fine (not antibody test). But I am next to certain I had it in March 2020, and probable again for the last month.

As I mentioned in the past, I had the strangest cough for two weeks last year. That same cough returned and has lasted three weeks now. In February 2020 I was at a large conference in NYC. That turned out to be an early hotspot.

If a 50+ man had COVID, he'd know it. It wouldn't be "strange". And it wouldn't be twice.

I got my first COVID test on Friday. That swab stab is no joke. I was coughing and blowing my nose for a few minutes after.

Test was required for re-entry from our Mexico trip. Funniest part was everyone all hazmat’d up in a sterile room...and there’s a tip jar sitting there. I’m sure there’s germs all over that.

If you posed as an illegal immigrant you could have avoided the test, and collected a nice stimulus payment

Lost my glasses Thursday. Visited the eye doctor today. And on cue I found the damn things ten minutes ago in a place I thought about looking yesterday.

Getting old blows sometimes.

True. But I don't know if I'd have been so agreeable at 3 this morning when I was awakened by two fucking raccoons on my porch roof and was worried about being too bleary eyed to shoot them.

Found out this week that someone put a big door ding in my driver side passenger door. I always park on end spots or far away from others so it is very frustrating. People..... they’re the worst.

Here's a strange thing that is not afoot at the Circle K....trying to put more than $75 in a tank.

Thanks, Biden.

Are they shutting the pumps off at $75 now? Back when gas was $4/gal, I found out that they shut off at $100 when trying to fill the 42 gal tank on my older Suburban. :D

Then on my newer Suburban, back during the winter, the oil pressure sending unit shit the bed. So as the weather has gotten nice out, I have been fixing a lot of things on our vehicles. Got around to trying to fix the sending unit Sunday. I can't even get my hand on the fucking thing, much less get my hand, an extension with the special socket for it and even some light, on it. It's on the back of the engine, shoved against the firewall. It's not a problem on a smaller V8, but I have a big block... So I then set about removing the fuel lines that run up to the fuel rail, only to find out my disconnect tool isn't the right one. So I was a little agitated to say the least.

Depends on what the card companies are allowing and what the stations are at. Used to be 75 until a few years back they bumped it to 100. Most of ours out here are at 100 bucks a fill because of Diesel trucks having 30-40 gallon tanks. Wife had one of those 42 gallon suburbans and would often have to run two fills on it at certain stations. More and more I think I'll put in a road diesel and an unleaded tank on the the farm so I don't have to deal with this anymore. God knows we will have 4 drivers in a year so we will burn through it.

Its a credit card thing, not a gas station thing. If you don't swipe at the pump and pay cash or card at the counter, you can fill up with as many dollars as your tank can handle.
