Directly disobeying a command from the manager isn't an unwritten rule and Yermin has had a problem with rules not only this year but apparently in the past.

If it was just something he yelled at the last minute as the guy is in the batters box it's Tony who broke the proper protocols.

Last night, he took a slider that was breaking away from him and off the plate into RF for a hit. The guy can flat out hit and there doesn't seem to be anything that would suggest otherwise at this point.
