PHX up by 15 vs LAL.

Lakers dont look that bad (except AD), but the ball just bouncing Phoenix's way, and theyre capitalizing on it.

loud crowd, great to see it. Maskless fans sitting together.

Tune in during Matt Houston commercials, on ABC!

Knicks need a Charles Oakley/Anthony Mason/Xavier McDaniel type to come off the bench and put Young on the floor a drive or two. And while it's awesome to see Rose playing and thriving in the playoffs, Drose should not be trying to guard Young one on one.

No one can guard Trae 1v1, but yea, DRose especially can't do it.

Beating up Trae only gets Trae more fired up. He's tiny, but pound for pound he's one of the toughest players in the NBA. He seeks out contact and never backs down from throwing his body in the way of much bigger players. He also went 9-9 from the line and I think he's missed 1 free throw in his last 80 attempts or something like that so yea, please foul him all game long.

Okay, but Frank on Young is a tougher watch.

Wasn't Ntilikina drafted as high as he was b/c of defense? Maybe that's the French guard the Pistons drafted.

Considering Randle/Barrett went 12 for 38 / 3-12 from 3 between them, Knicks shouldn't feel pessimistic about the series only losing by a bucket.

yes, Frank was supposed to be a defensive guard when they drafted him. But, even the best defense (which Frank is NOT) will lose to the best offense. Great offense always beats great defense. And Trae is about as great on offense as any player in the league.

Regarding the bolded, why is that fans always post crap like that without acknowledging that that line of thinking goes BOTH WAYS?

Randle and Barrett shot poorly, but guess what? Gallo was 1-9 from three. Huerter shot poorly. Bogi shot poorly till the end of the game. Capela and Collins didn't do as well offensively as they usually do. Hunter still a bit rusty after missing the last few months. Lou Will was terrible in the first half. Trae is the only player on the Hawks who played great. But according to some people Randle and Barrett are the ONLY players in the series who can play better the next game

Young and Bogdanovic combined for 50 points. The Knicks 2 leading scorers / highest usage players combined for 29 points. Young has an off night, Atlanta's losing by 20, not 2.

Yeah it is refreshing to see a kid like him play so tough.

I am just worried he cannot sustain this type of play very long. Hopefully he can because he is a lot of fun to watch. I was not sold on him coming out of college, but he has definitely proved the doubters wrong.

and the Knicks bench played out of their mind while the Hawks bench was terrible. if Knicks bench plays worse or Hawks bench plays better it's a 20 point Hawks win.

See how easy this exercise is?

Sustain it? dude, he's only going to get better and better. He's proven that this year with the way he's matured in terms of leading an offense. And with his game being below the rim, his injury chances are much lower than the guys like Ja Morant who play above the rim.

He is not very big. He plays physical. He seeks out contact. Even if he does not play above the rim, that style of play is going to lead to injuries. So yes there is a concern if he can sustain this type of play. Like I said, I hope he can. He is fun to watch.

so far the only injuries he's had (knock on wood) are sprained ankles from landing on guys feet in the lane while shooting floaters. The great thing, though, is that for every injury he's had he has come back way before the timetable given for the injury. His recent sprain was a grade 2 and everyone said he would be out 2 weeks. He was back in 1. He's a quick healer which bodes well for his career. The body contact is not going to hurt him as it is body on body as opposed to him taking hits on his knees or other joints.

He developed the floater. Without it, yeah, he would get annihilated.

I'm just glad to finally see the younger players stepping up and placing their stamp on the game.

Pretty impressive that Trae is able to get prime New York City real estate rent free.

LeBron might be the most vulnerable he's ever been. It would be so sweet after the Bulls never being able to do it -- to see this Suns team defeat he and the Lakers. Hopefully Chris Paul is feeling a little better today.

If Lebron isn't able to get his 5th this year, he'll up the sales pitch to Curry to sign with LA after next season. I think Kyrie and KD are signed through 2023, Harden has a player option for that year? So with their current deals it's possible for Harden or Curry to join with Lebron and AD after next season.

Curry's not leaving the bay. He's a god there. Just like Wade wasn't leaving Miami in 2010. Maybe LeBron goes to GS.

I think the opposite. Curry leaves because he wants a 4th championship. His excuse is that Steve Kerr left. LeBron stays a Laker because it's the Lakers and excellent for his brand.
