He seems to have extended his zone and is swinging at too many bad pitches. Given his early success and the fact that he doesn't appear to be hurting for confidence, it might take a trip to AAA to get his attention and get him to stop.

Not looking good for his long term success.

It was his attitude and work ethic that saw him shipped out of so many places. He's always hit wherever he's been. In 600+ MiLB games, he has a .302avg and a .857 OPS.

Mercedes was never projected to be a part of this team long term. He did something to help the team but now it's time to give a shot to the high draft picks and prospects who have real upside and a potential to be long term contributors to this team. I hope Sheets DH's tonight and I can't wait until Burger gets his chance as well. These are the guys we have been excited about for some time

Lamb acted like a pro and changed his approach in mid-May. Look at an April or early May swing of his vs. one today. Notice what he's doing with his feet.

Lamb sucked early on and there were definitely times he didn't deserve to be in the lineup. He's hot now, and TLR should ride that as long as he can.

Funny how over the course of a 6 month season, guys can go into slumps. Even the magical Baez hit barely .200 with a sub .600 OPS last season!
