I use Android because way back when the first iphone came out it was exclusive to att and I was on sprint.

Today, both are really nice platforms. Though there is a stark difference between a high end Android device and a budget one

Like most things in my life I've stuck with Droid out of habit. I've had the same phone number for 20 years and stuck with the same phone company.

I couldn't imagine being a young man trying to date now where your text game has to be on point. I was always bad at emojiis as I rarely use them but now it tells you when someone read your message on iphone. Maybe you were all Rico Suave as teens but I wasn't and that shit would drive me nuts.

I don't understand that texting shit and never have. Google can help me now.

I was usually doing the wrong things as a young adult and getting away with it. This video call shit would have destroyed me. Now all these kids do is video call. I still won't answer a video call unless it's from one of my kids.

Same with me for iPhone. I got a free iPhone 2 or 3 way back from a family member, just to see if I liked it. I had it long enough that I figured I would just stick with it.

It’s pretty bizarre. The girl I’m currently seeing says I always sound so serious when texting cuz I don’t use emojis and finds it weird that I told her I find them childish for guys to use

The only emoji I use or have ever used is the thumbs up. I don't get these clowns paying obscene amounts of money for a phone. I get a new phone 2 times a year because I break em..always 50-100$ for an android from boost or cricket.

Same. Not only does it feel childish to me but feminine. It felt like something the woman would do. I completely relate though. I would have a woman text me "Hi" with a smiley emojii and i would reply "Hi" would no emojii and then she would reply if everything was ok or if I was mad at her.

Yeah, that's me. As a company, I despise Apple and I find their fandom to be morons. I think Macs are overpriced nonsense. For phones, though, I've always preferred iPhones. Not because it's Apple...it's just what I've always used and it's comfortable for me.

i had an iphone for a years and switched for some reason I can't remember. Both are fine, i'm just used to Nova Launcher and android now. when i have to do something on my wifes phone to fix something shes goofed up i usually make it worse.

The iPhone user experience is virtually the same now as it was in 2007. This is another way of saying iPhone users are being ripped off.

I have used Android since the beginning. I did have an iPhone XS Max that was used exclusively as a camera. I do a lot of photography (monochrome, 2x2) in the style of the old twin lens reflex cameras. The iPhone did an amazing job with that. The photos with the Galaxy do not have the same feel to them.

I have a phone but I couldn't tell you what brand or version it is. It's in a case so I can't even see the stamp. I got it in the last few months only because my previous phone was so old that it wasn't compatible with a couple of apps that are necessary to me.

Soon after I got it, I got one of those russian hacker messages that they were watching me through my phone and wanted bitcoin or they would tell the world my secrets.

I'm not a 12 year old girl so I am not sure I've ever seen those let alone used them. I'll ask my daughter. Ive used android, I use iPhone. My last android phone was so glitchy that it would take some convincing for me to go back. In the end my phones live in otter box type cases because of ym work environment. IF they last 6 months to a year Im pretty happy but last phone actually made it 3 years. Key is keeping the damn charging port clean. And not dropping phone in a bull pen or on ground in field before running over with tillage equipment.. Those last two are pretty tough on the electronics.
