It was a good call. Guy is a .200 hitter. You really have confidence that he was going to get a hit? Plus you have Much better hitters to follow. Get him over and then let Anderson and Co. Get him in. He didn't execute that's on him. Not LaRussa

It was not a good call. Research baseball plz.

Strong advocation for the bunt. "Not much of a detriment so far"

That doesn't specify sacrifice bunts. Sacrifice flies might be included in that as well.

Cease is just filthy today.

Outside of an ill-advised bunt, this was a great weekend for the White Sox

Nice taking 3/4, but I think they need to make a bullpen trade or 2.

MLB Nework just OKed TLR's bunting. Plesac and an analyst. BONUS-you make these poor fielding teams handle the ball. The guy form esspun with the horrible crewcut sort of agrees but not always. lolFlipFlop. "Always let the speedy Billy bunt."
New shut down pitching makes one run a BFD. Got a shut down bullpen? Same same.
It's now MLB Network official.

Anyway, Experts agree. TLR is at the least OK and probably MOAR.

Coming back and winning the Friday game 9-8 was fucking huge. Big series win.

Another strong bullpen arm is really the only thing they need and since we are fine on closer, getting a 7/8 guy shouldn't be too expensive. Granted, Crochet taking the next step this season could help that. I think Bummer is back on track so we have 2 solid lefty arms. I'd like another RHer as the only guy outside of Hendriks I trust is Kopech

I really think Kopech will have to be our Andrew Miller in October

It's a long way until October. He might be starting by then. We are already having to give extra rest to Rodon. I don't trust Kuechel at all in the playoffs. And Giolito has been shaky at best this year.

If the playoffs started tomorrow I would say Lynn, Rodon, Giolito, Cease/Kopech would be the best rotation.

Our bullpen needs Kopech. Our bullpen also needs Bummer to be right.

Kuechel was made for the way playoffs are played right now. One time through the order or two maximum and hand it to the bullpen.

Cease though, is developing into the 4th guy and maybe even higher should Rodon not last.

I wonder if it would be advisable for Robert, should he return, to be limited to a corner OF position with Engel being the full time CF.

Keuchel, without a sinker(and it's happening more and more), is trash against a good team. He can't smoke and mirrors his way through the Houston Astros.

Glad to hear someone else on board with my brilliance.

Anything over .225 from Engel is all bonus at this point. He's an absolute, stud outfielder.

Yeah. And what was lost in how Ricky bungled game three last year was that Kuechel shit the bed in the playoffs vs. the A's. He gave up 5 runs in 3 innings of work. Needed to win that game rather than hope to win a game 3 with no starter.

Use him in good match-ups, and as a defensive replacement. Good platoon player.

I'd be OK with an Eaton platoon as long as Eaton hits for better average.

He's had hamstring issues all year. Other than a few dramatic home runs he's been another bargain signing bust.

Listening to the snore this morning you would think the team was 10 under. Still bitching about TLR and the bunt attempt.

Honest question, but why does anyone still listen to it?

Gotta figure this is a 4-2 final with no rain delay.
