Caratini's injury was the DIRECT result of instant replay.

Fuck instant replay.

Used to be u slid into home u didnt worry about if u touched the plate or not.

Because of Maddon's bullshit, Caratini was involved in a TON of replays at plays at the plate, and was too conscious of it and contorted his foot so much to try and touch the plate instead of just sliding in.

Absolutely terrible how instant replay has fucked up the game.

Notice how Coomer is getting more opinionated ripping into launch angle. Specifically mentioning how high strikes are impossible for Cubs uphill swingers to hit. Mentioned it again with Happ hitting today. He's also on a roll praising line drive spray hitters looking for singles. Of course Pat doesn't reply.

Dempster talked about the Padres playing 20 games in a row. What a grind it is. I'm sure it's not easy. But come on. Best hotels, best restaurants, best transportation, lavish lifestyle. How about single mothers working every day multiple jobs minimum wage. It's kind of irritating to hear these millionaires constantly crying. For those 20 games in a row the average MLB salary player makes $515,000.
