It's been out 3 months so that's 93 books sold on Amazon. Obviously one can get it from other sites and bookstores so lets call it another 200. Let's just round up the total to 300. 25 bucks a pop =$7500. Does anybody think she got an advance? Maybe a grand? Plus 10% of sales nets her $1750.

That's not so bad. Publisher maybe lost a little. It got her exposure. Maybe it's enough to allow her to write another turd. The reason I looked into this is because I was watching Michael Malice, the anarchist, and he self published on Amazon and he's ranked in the 5000 range and selling 600 books a month at Amazon at 18 bucks a pop($10 Kindle). Pretty good coin for something even less interesting than wokeness.

I know people wanted me to review the book for the board but I couldn't get through it.

her book was in the top 1000 for a bit. she likely sold enough copies for someone to be willing to give her another chance to write a second book.

I always assumed she wrote the book hoping it would be picked up as required reading in a few communications schools

She'll likely get a second book, but it's going to be atrocious. She already used up her only material on the first book, and isn't interesting or creative enough to come up with new content. I can guarantee it'll basically be the first book just reworded because she only has a limited set of material, kind of like a real shitty and lazy comedian.

She doesn't give a shit about pollinators, and her "green" efforts won't amount to a hill of beans. It's just laziness. I'm sure her neighbors love looking at the weeds and having a bunch of extra bugs flying around.

I have an aquaintance who i used to spend a lot of time fishing with. he's a retired steel mill worker who is uber liberal and basically a hippy. he was/is a mississippi river fishing savant and i learned a ton about fishing the river from him but had to endure his endless rants about republicans and farmers and people who use herbicides. his street was basically well manicured outside of his house. he kept it tight as far as weedeating and mowing, but refused to ever fertilize. so its basically a sea of clover, crabgrass, and dandelions. His neighbors HATE him. and he hates them. It used to be quite comical fishing with him, i'd just shake my head and giggle, but he's getting like uber crotchety in old age.

She DOES have good hair.

So, amongst other things in her life, her yard looks like shit too?

She wants so badly to be considered beautiful.

I can only imagine. Piles of laundry in the basement of indiscernible cleanliness, a weed filled yard, empty cereal boxes, soda cans, and kraft mac n cheese boxes on the kitchen counter, dirty pots and pans on, in, and around the stove, and my guess is the sink looks like an abandoned aquarium.

Seriously, a little 2-4d will wipe out those dandelions and it is non-toxic to bees. Organic fertilizer on top of that and you are good to go, but then again it is fun to grandstand and pretend you are “doing something for the greater good” and post it on Twitter.
