I hope not. Rivers loses this series he should be fired but probably won't. He has blown all three games. Its not all on him as its a badly constructed roster. Simmons is the only player on the roster that can create a play for others. Everyone else is catch and shoot on the perimeter. That has been the case since he has been in the league. There are backup pgs all over that place that they could have grabbed for the purpose of spotting them a few playoff minutes. Instead that continue to grab guys that can do nothing other than hit an open jump shot.

everyone wants to blame Doc, but unless you are suggesting he should be benching Simmons I don't know how you can look at 4-14 from the FT line and say Doc lost the game for them. Or look at Embiid's two straight awful second halves. Or Tobias Harris disappearing act last night.


Also, time to start giving credit to the other team. Looks like they are pretty good actually. and have a legit superstar who LOVES the pressure. That's rare air right there.

Nah he has left in bench in too long for at least 2 of the losses. Atlanta isn't that good. Philly has been up 20 or nearly 20 in 2 consecutive games and lost. Game 1 he allowed Atlanta to go on a 19-2 run (against the bench) and didn't bother to make a substitution back to the starters. I don't care about Simmons and the Missed free throws. You have to know your squad. Maxey shouldn't be playing and Simmons should be playing 40+ minutes in this series.

They were in the penalty with 7 minutes to go and weren't even attempting to attack the basket. Korkmaz shouldn't be starting either. Start Thybulle and shorten the bench up to 7-8 players. Maxey only played one minute yesterday and was a -5 in just one minute. Your plus minus would be better than that.

Another quick turnaround for the team that's dragging ass in the 4th quarter the last two games and have scored a total of 37 points.

Yep, Trae torched Simmons and Thybulle last night. And last two games he has turned them into turnstyles in the 4th quarter.

Trae has established himself as the best player in every playoff series he's played in. That includes a 2nd team All NBA player, a 3rd team All NBA player and the MVP runner up.

He was 8 for 26 in game 4. Guess that constitutes "torching" in your world. The bench got them back in the game last night. Not him.

Joel Embiid is hands down the best player in this series. Whether they win or lose that isn't changing. When Trae is on the floor Atlanta is getting killed for the most part every game. That isn't an accident.

Plus/minus in the 4th probably looks decent. I'm more of a fan of Real plus/minus anyway. Trae is ranked 14th PG in the Association. Pretty good considering his defense mostly consists of sniffing ass.
