I am 100% certain that his desire to get rid of it is because of his real estate purchases. He just isn't wrong that the eviction ban can't last forever. People who rent from others need to pay for it, or the government needs to pay landlords for the free housing that people are getting.

i understand, but some say all they are doing is following the tax laws - that they actually ghostwrite.

my guess is that the kochs don't live with or near illegals, don't compete with illegals for work, don't interact with them socially or professionally and their off-spring have no dealings with them.

so, why passionately defend these law-breakers when all the law-breakers have to do is stand in line to become legit citizens? i have friends and acquaintances from poland, ghana, nigeria, korea, the phillipines and vietnam and they had to stand in line. their fault is that they were born on different continents and hemispheres.

It’s because MANY businesses/farms that they are tied to directly or indirectly use illegal immigration.

I can personally attest to oilfield services companies in TX using illegal labor who can provide the proper forms to get hired.

Then the company can keep the wages low.

The Koch's are clearly looking out for their own self interest as they have properties that make money based on collecting rent but they are also right that the eviction ban at worst is well past the time in which it was a justifiable thing to have.
