I'll only speak for my experience in Family court.....I've seen 3 different judges and I'm pretty sure all 3 of them would have politely explained it's inappropriate to have the children in their courtroom.
But that's just my experience.

Just for laughs, imagine how you would feel being in some shit in court, and your lawyer breezes in having not spoken with you at all and has to pawn her kid off on the fucking judge so she can confer with you.

EDIT: And doesn't her story imply she was late, too? So she hadn't talked to her client, brought her kid to court, and somehow involved the judge in watching the child so she could finally provide legal advice to her client.

I just love how she is so completely incapable of having anything not involve her or her experiences, that she can so casually spin a bullshit tale about her being mildly unprofessional or, at least, unprepared in her legal career because that's the only way she can discuss stuff.

And on the flipside, I wouldn't be happy if the other side's lawyer is getting favors from the judge.
