I’m chilling out with a fire and get an email that someone needs $525k.

Is that really an email that needs to be sent at 10pm?

The automatic doors on our van stopped working recently. They were still under warranty so had it into the dealer to get fixed, and we got it back 2 days ago. Today I am running some errands and I pull into school to drop something off and come back out and the van wont start and shows some security system warning. Tried about 4 different supposed tricks to unlock the system and still wouldn't work. Had to be towed back to the dealer. It is always something.

Seacrest - my EM guy is calling for steady appreciation of the peso. Take the MXN.

Chrysler? I replaced many "snake cables" that run in that groove at the bottom of them. After awhile I just started repairing the breaks in the wires when it would inevitably happen again.

Yeah Chrysler.

The door that stopped working was the back hatch. The side doors just made a crazy sound every time they closed and they said something needed repaired on them as well.

People need to stop fucking buying Chrysler products. Just a garbage company making a garbage product. My work truck is a ram and it's the biggest piece of shit ever. All of them in our motor pool are garbage.

I had a chrysler, it was good for about 6 years and then had some issues. It seemed like it was going to keep having issues so we got rid of it. My ford was good and ran for awhile.

I was considering pulling the trigger on one of those hideous Jeep Gladiators. This thread is giving me second thoughts.

Jeep people love their jeeps. I don't know if they have issues or not but they hold value pretty well from what I've heard. I think my son would like a jeep. He'll need a car in a few months and we are trying to decide what to do. Get him a beater? Give him mine and get me a good one?

Yes. It's pretty slick.

I'm considering getting the grill-top option but I'm wondering if 5 grills is too many for one man not named Steven Raichlen.

My husband put a big "whiskey" ice cube in my sparkling wine to be idk funny something I'm not sure. It made it flat. Is there a physics reason why this would happen? It's like all the bubbles went from the bottom of the glass to the ice cube and died.

RS platform vans were noisy. The RT's were much quieter. Can't speak to the RU's (Pacifica's) as I haven't owned one. Although my own sister just got one (her 3rd Chrysler van BTW...), so I guess when it needs service, it'll be at uncle CDOM's garage. So I will find out.

The RT's, there is a little aluminum nubby that the lift rod connects to... Common break point.

Their quality is shit, no doubt. I can supply a laundry list of what I had to R&R under their lifetime powertrain warranty on our 2007 if you'd like. I used to joke that I had replaced everything BUT the alternator. Well then I went through 2 of those... Our 2015 has been a slight bit better but still not without issue.

But when it comes to functionality, their vans > than all others. I speak from experience as M-I-L has had two Sienna's and the S-I-L has a new Sedona. Guess who they all call when they need to move a simple table chair... Uncle CDOM with his swiss army knife van. Their seats might be more comfortable, their quality might be better, but they fail in terms of doing the key thing they were invented for... Seating/cargo flexibility. Their Stow-N-Go setup is the cats ass. I used it soo much that on our 2007, I actually wore out the mechanism on the passenger side seat where as it flips over and tumbles in to the floor. The mechanism pulls the seat in towards the center of the vehicle. That part broke and I had to nudge it inward whenever I'd fold it in to the floor. Not to mention, when the seats are up, that floor well becomes a huge trunk more or less for additional storage.

Real ice. Then you're just crazy.
Nucleation is when items have tiny little pores or pockmarks in them which greatly increases surface area which gives dissolved gasses a perfect location in which to come out of solution. Ever seen an etched glass bottom? That's where the bubbles primarily form.
