In her case it’s because she’s never held accountable for her mistakes. If her employer had any integrity at all they’ve had grounds to shitcan her on multiple occasions for her egregious mistakes and terrible takes under their masthead . For all her screaming about white male privilege and how undeserving people never seem to be held accountable or get fired when they make mistakes she doesn’t realize she’s benefited from that more than anyone else

Lately when people are coming after her she'll say "Your 14 follorwers must be proud" Like she really thinks twitter matters. Must be nice to say everything she says, but not have the balls to say it in public or in person.

If Deadspin were a credible site, wouldn't she have been fired by now for being completely incompetent? Her views, while horrible, are probably shared everyone at that site, but to be so wrong in just a few months on the Boulder shooting followed by this fiasco yesterday is pretty bad if you have any standards about accuracy. Maybe they like her because she brings attention to their site, and that's a win for them, but she is not a journalist, just a professional victim. It really shows her character when she, for a 2nd time, can't own a mistake. If she wasn't so entertaining as a disaster............

She uses Twitter to be validated (in her own mind) by like minded people. Most of that site is a cesspool, but it has tons of people who think like her.
