s13 done; ended up being a pretty strong season.

Enjoyed the Michael/Dean situation; looking forward to see how its resolved in s14.

The season finale "Road So Far" recap might be the best one they've done.

I don't have high hopes for that.

s14 e9 "The Spear"

Nice job with the Die Hard references.

"Mint Condition" was an episode that JBills would have written

it's not even a question. it was up against "smallville"?

"supernatural" made for a lot of great TV spanning 3 decades.

Three decades? It started in something like 2007 and realistically would have ended in 2020 if not for covid and all that, so it barely made it to 2021. I'll give you two decades since the 07-10 stuff (read: the first 5 years) was easily the peak of the show. Then after a couple'a goofy years it got comfy until the last season, when covid came and dialed down what would have likely been a better final stretch

s15, ep10- "The Heroes' Journey"

Very good episode; love the comedic episodes. Making Sam and Dean "normal" was pure genius; pokes fun at how the show always had them with money and not experiencing normal goof-ups or health issues from their days spent living the road life. Ackles is a great comedic actor.

e11- "The Gamblers"

This felt like a setup episode, introducing new storylines and a returning character to set up the final battle with Chuck. Mediocre episode overall, but understandable given what this episode is setting up.

"The Last Holiday"

Might be one of the best episodes of the series. Great comedic writing and also furthered the storyline of Jack's attempt to defeat God.

I enjoyed the Gamblers episode from what I remember.

The Last Holiday was pretty solid too.

Gamblers was good; nice references to The Hustler in that one.
Ghostbusters references in Last Holiday were great.

Really going to miss watching this show; was a part of my watch rotation for the last 3 1/2 years. Easily one of my Top 10 shows of all-time.

meagen fay was great in "last holiday".

"inherit the earth" will most likely be said to have been the *true* finale. and it is the better episode than the finale. but i don't hate it like a lot of fans do.

Just watched "Inherit the Earth" and I agree, it felt like it should have been the series finale. You get the whole of them through the years (seasons) and all the friends/enemies they have encountered. Felt like a perfect ending if they were going to keep open the possibility o of getting back together for movies or mini-series in the future.

Podcast with Jensen as guest.

Talks about supernatural ending, the boys, and other things.

Filmed before the Rust movie set shooting.

That was a good episode. I listened to it earlier in the week.

The podcast isn't bad either. Rosenbaum has a disarming way of interviewing. There's a Steven Abell episode from 2020 I think that gets uncomfortable about 30 minutes in.

Agreed about Rosenbaum.

Never thought he’d turn into such a good interviewer when he was hamming it up as Lex 15-20 years ago.

the interview he does with Tom Welling is good. Sounds like that show was pretty exhausting to shoot for all of them. They also go in on Alison Mack and NXIVM a bit if i remember correct
