I think this is a rather transparent and unsophisticated attempt to cash in on the cultural fad de jour (everything is structurally racist) to sell some books. Had he published this during the Occupy Wall St. movement he might have said Jackson gave Kukoc the shot because he favored wealthier players over the poorer ones.

It doesn't make a lot of sense for someone who is bigoted towards African Americans to enter a profession in which the overwhelming majority of the people you work with will be African American.

Today Parkins and Spiegel played an old Pippen interview with Boers and Bernstein where both Dan and Terry essentially accused Pippen of stealing money in his final contract. Pippen finally had enough and hung up on them. :lol:

My initial thought to that was that Cartright who at the time anyway was Black if I recall was crying afterward in the locker room. He said to Pippen, paraphrasing, you ruined it you ruined everything. I always assumed he meant the circle of trust. It was never race.

further testament to the greatness of michael that he was able to take a couple of country bumpkins like pippen and grant and make them into stars. Those two have never been able to get out their own way without MJ direction. They were like the country wolf in the cartoon with Michael being their city cousin

I wouldn't say Pippen is a jealous guy but he definitely is someone who counts other people's money. I think deep down he'd like to say shit about MJ, but he knows how that would end.
