This is a 7 part documentary about the sniper killing around the DC area in the early 2000s from VICE currently playing on Hulu or anywhere else you can get VICE on demand. I’m on part 3 and this is one of the best done and most interesting documentaries I’ve seen in a long time. They have narration in many parts from Lee Malvo who was the young kid who did all the shootings, from recorded interviews from prison. It makes me sad for the people they kill but fascinating that they have the insight and commentary from a mindless killer, it’s creepy as hell.

Edit -- I take it back it appears to be more than 7 episodes and is an ongoing series. I had no idea about that....... Still highly recommended

I’ve been meaning to check this out, I usually only watch Sunny reruns on VICE but this looks good. This specific case has always intrigued me. And I remember how it crippled that area during the period.

I’d scary and fascinating at the same time. They do a nice job intertwining the stories of the victims and the hunters.
