Bob Odenkirk as big-budget action movie star, fuck me running.

When he stuffed his family in the basement he should have said SHUT UP HONEY I HAVE TO LIVE WITH THIS NOW YOU HAVE TO SUPPORT ME

Chicago tough.

I like stories about middle aged guys on the edge. I wonder why?

Still need to see that one where Russell Crowe gets in a fender bender

On a side note: Is that new Bryan Cranston show, Your Honor, any good? The first episode is free on Showtime.

this would be one movie that would be *perfect* to go on HBO Max. of course, it's released in theaters only.

The 'action' in the couple trailer clips I've seen doesn't even look believable. Showed one on WGN this morning and the fight scene looked like it was a walk through being done prior to actually filming it.

Recommended...Odenkirk is great. It got a little ridiculous at times, but an entertaining 90 minutes.

The sequel to this would have to be called Nobodies, with Hutch, his dad, and his best pal as the main heroes.

Definitely a blast, but sometimes felt like it actually could have gone farther in its ridiculousness. Especially since some of it is grounded in reality. Most of it is paid off pretty well, except with the son. I felt like that was kind of a hanging subplot that could've been dealt with. But who knows, if they do a sequel, they can revisit that.

This was the first time I was in our local theater since "The Invisible Man" and it was great to be back. And pretty much NOBODY was in our theatre, except for a spirited couple who was enjoying it as much as we were.

My wife preferred this to "Kong vs. Godzilla" which I really wanted to see, but I can wait. I'm just glad our theater is open again.

Fun stuff. Definitely worth a viewing, if you enjoy a formulaic, graphic violent romp.

:D :D :D out of :D :D :D :D

This movie was like when you wake up the day after working in the sun all day the day before and you sit on the toilet hoping for a good bm to start your day but all you get is like 3 rabbit pellet poops and your stomach hurts all day until you drink a half gallon of coffee and a mcmuffin and you spray liquid shit all over the toilet to the point where it backsplashes and coats the underside of the toilet seat with shit speckles and you just know that there isn't enough toilet paper in the building to handle this and you've got to find a shower asap but maybe you're still at that McDonald's so you start thinking about splashing water on you ass from the sink and using the Dyson drier on your bum but you're terrified some 90 year old man is going to come in with an aching prostate and need to spend 18 minutes agonizingly squeezing 3 drops of piss from his withered cock.

Okay then.

How was work? My day was fine I guess, but I can't help but feel I've made some wrong decisions.

Busy then boring. I spent too much time thawing evaporators today. I thought about retiring to my truck to entertain myself for 20 minutes but it was too hot.

Work was super busy and I'm tired. I talked to what had to be a drunk person for 5 minutes or so. I'm not really doing what I wanted and I feel like I'm missing out on other stuff. I didn't think about entertaining myself and I don't think that would take 20 minutes so I have that going for me which is nice.

I think I deal with a drunk every single day. I mean these people are home so you know whatever. The 10am drunks are my favorite. You should take your time when entertaining yourself. That's why I have a Yankee candle in my truck.

is better call saul over yet? Last i remembsr was chuck dying then some "global pandemic" happened where basically the flu got rebranded and the powers that be wanted to see how much BS/shutdown we'd take before full on revolt (lamentably its basically an.infinite amount) and now the game is to try and force everyone to get vaccinated (one of my phones had like 10-15 missed xalls from the CDC National Immunization something during the week of june 21st) and its getting to tne point where if you wear a mask in public people look at you like you're a leper. I can only imagine theres going to be an app / new ID card / chip to try and force the ~30-35% remaining holdouts to give their immune system the buzzcut that it neefs if you ever wanna be able to go to the store again i. 2022/+

also my favorite bit during the proper lockdown was IDOT forcing all the tollbooth machines to be closed so you had to pay through ipass (read: your trips are logged/stored indefinitively).

Whether it was purely profit motive (forcing everyone to sign up for a service where you generally pay for a service before using it) or another "dry run" at population tracking, that was one of the serious red flags that popped up for me during the flu rebrand epoch where its like "what are they really trying out during this period of time?"
